The Kennedy Rocker has been made in Asheboro, NC by the P & P Chair Company since 1926. John F. Kennedy's first rocker was recommended to him by his doctor in 1955. As President, the rockers traveled with him on Air Force One all over the world. He also had additional rockers at Camp David and at his homes in Palm Beach and Hyannis port. Through the years he gave dozens of them to friends and heads-of-state the world over.
